When Laélia came to me with the idea of making a Halloween-inspired video based on the Scream / Drew Barrymore phone-call scene, we built the concept around atmosphere, performance and visual references rather than trying to imitate the original.
My approach to music videos is to find the visual language that fits the artist, then push it far enough to feel distinctive. Sometimes that means a tightly planned cinematic shoot. Other times it means something looser, faster and more instinctive. Either way, the goal is the same: make the artist feel like themselves, just larger.
